Daniel Meza (He/Him)

Events & Marketing Manager

Daniel Meza is an entrepreneur and professional known for his expertise in planning, strategic management, and impactful marketing. His background in journalism, coupled with a Master’s in International Relations, positions Daniel as a leader in organizational communications and delivering impactful events. His career trajectory include roles in Saint John and international domains (US and Latin America).

As the co-founder at Dragonfly Events, Daniel directed notable projects. They inclinclude the successful execution of the Empowering Women in Business 2024 conference, Networking of Diversity and After Office Party events in 2023. These ventures highlighted his ability to curate and execute memorable events and marketing, leaving a lasting impression on both clients and attendees. 

Daniel’s leadership in driving planning and impactful communication positions him as a trusted professional capable of delivering exceptional event experiences.

Tania Valbuena (She/Her)

Project Manager

Tania Valbuena possesses over a decade of expertise in leading public health programs, science journalism initiatives, and project management. She’s the co-founder at Dragonfly Events.

Her leadership, showcased across roles in institutions and global networks, underscores her commitment to creating exceptional experiences. Tania provide services tailored to both clients’ and community needs.

Tania has a multidisciplinary background, including a master’s degree in Public Health and cross-cultural communication skills. This allows her to craft engaging communication. Consequently, Tania excels at creating event narratives and experiences in specialized fields such as health and academia.

Among her recent accomplishments, Tania played a pivotal role in the organizing committee for Empowering Women in Business 2024. Tania organized the 12th World Conference of Science Journalists in 2023, a globally recognized and influential event.

Margarita Mora (She/Her)

Event Coordinator

Maggie possesses a robust background in developing consulting and educational projects for social entrepreneurship and non-profit organizations. Moreover, she has contributed to innovation projects and corporate event planning in the IT sector. Also, throughout her career, Maggie has showcased a versatile skill set, effectively managing various responsibilities such as marketing coordination, event planning, project coordination, and organizational communications.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Science, a postgraduate Degree in Social Project Management, and a Business Administration – Management Diploma. Accolades include the CENEVAL 2019 National Award for Performance of Academic Excellence in BA. Moreover, she obtained the 1st Place for the Project ÑU-SAA at the 2015 Enactus Mexico National Competition.

As Events Coordinator at Dragonfly Events, Margarita played a key role in organizing impactful events. She has key roles organizing Empowering Women in Business 2024 conference agenda and the Networking of Diversity series.

Margarita is committed to inspiring positive change, coupled with her exceptional ability to handle diverse functions simultaneously. Furthermore, she’s proficient in coordinating events, marketing campaigns, and projects at all stages.

Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

With 8 years of diverse experience spanning administrative, creative, and marketing domains, Hanna bring a versatile skill set to the table. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, she specializes in crafting visually stunning content that captivates audiences.

Her strong background in social media management and marketing campaign development ensures impactful online presence and brand engagement. Additionally, her expertise extends to providing efficient administrative support, including data management and client communication.

She thrives on creativity, innovation, and collaborative teamwork, always striving to deliver high-quality results. As Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, Hanna was the social media manager at the Empowering Women in Business 2024 conference.

Volunteer Events Coordinator

Israt is a dynamic professional based in New Brunswick, Canada, with a rich background in diverse roles spanning event planning, supply management, and administrative support.

As a Volunteer Events Coordinator Assistant at Dragonfly Events Planning Agency, she has demonstrated her ability to coordinate and execute multiple events, including NOD gatherings, ensuring exceptional participant experiences.

Her role also involves active involvement in promoting the “Empowering Women in Business” Conference, highlighting her commitment to fostering inclusive networking environments.

Previously, Israt contributed her skills as an Omni Channel Specialist at Best Buy, where she excelled in environment, health, and safety standards, showcasing her versatility and adaptability in various work settings.

With experience in corporate simplification, university teaching assistance, and conference services, Israt brings a diverse skill set encompassing event coordination, supply management, customer service, and administrative support.
